In these situations, it is not really practical to take your helmet with you, but how do you secure your expensive helmet when you are leaving it on the bike for a short while ?

It will not stop a professional criminal with the right tools (nothing will), but it ensures that nobody will just be able to walk away with your helmet without being noticed - and criminals will always try to avoid other peoples attention.

NOTE - Here is how to program the lock:
- Press down the latch in open position (the latch you press down to remove the wire loop from the lock)
- While keeping the latch pressed down, you adjust the dials to your preferred combination
- While programming the dials rotate them counterclockwise (Ascending order 1-2-3-4 etc)
- DO NOT release the latch before all dials are set to the preferred combination.
- When the dials are showing your preferred combination, you can release the latch and the lock will now program itself so only you can open it.
- You can reprogram the lock if and when you want to, but you need to know the right combination before you can press down the latch and insert a new code.
